Co-Founders of Taiv recognized for building a real-time ad replacement platform transforming how thousands of bars and restaurants earn from the screens they already own.

Endeavor Canada is proud to announce that Noah Palansky, Jordan Davis and Avi Stoller, the co-founders of Taiv, have been selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs at the 109th International Selection Panel, held in Montreal from September 15 to 17, 2026.

Taiv is a Winnipeg company that turns the television screens in bars and restaurants into a targeted advertising network. Its hardware, the Taiv Box, sits inline behind each screen and detects the moment a live broadcast cuts to commercial. In that moment it swaps the national ad, which was bought for viewers at home, for something chosen by the venue and Taiv: a paid ad sold to an advertiser who actually wants that room, or the venue's own promotion. When the break ends, the live feed comes back.

Founded in 2018 and a graduate of Y Combinator's Winter 2020 cohort, Taiv installed its first venue in Florida in April 2021. It reached 100 venues within eleven months, crossed 1,000 venues by September 2024, and doubled that five months later. Today the network spans more than 25,000 screens in over 30 U.S. cities, reaching more than 30 million viewers a month and delivering over 5.2 billion monthly impressions. Venues renew at 99 percent. The company has raised $30M USD to date, including a February 2026 round of equity and debt co-led by IDC Ventures and Emerging Ventures, with continued participation from Y Combinator, Pioneer Fund and Garage Capital.

A screen nobody was selling

For as long as bars and restaurants have had televisions, the commercials on them have been someone else's. A venue pays for the screens, the mounts and the cable subscription, and then hands its room over to whatever the broadcaster sold to viewers at home. Advertisers, meanwhile, have no way to reach that room differently than they reach a living room, even though the two audiences have almost nothing in common. A sports bar full of people mid-game is one of the few remaining places where a large group watches the same screen at the same time, and it has been effectively unsold inventory.

The cost of that gap runs both ways. Venues surrender roughly a fifth of their screen time to ads they did not choose, sometimes for the competitor down the street. Advertisers pay for reach they cannot target. Taiv's insight was that the break itself is the asset, and that whoever can reliably identify it in real time controls a distribution channel that did not previously exist.

How it works

The Taiv Box installs behind the TV in under an hour and works with any provider. When the broadcast cuts to commercial, Taiv replaces the national ad with something chosen for that room: an ad sold to an advertiser who wants those customers, or the venue's own promotion. When the break ends, the game comes back.

Venues install at no cost and earn $1,000 to $2,000 a year from screens they already own. Advertisers get a room they could not previously buy.

"Noah, Jordan and Avi noticed something that thousands of people walk past every day and decided it was a business. Then they did the unglamorous part: building edge hardware from scratch, in Winnipeg, because the problem could not be solved any other way. What our panel responded to was the combination of that stubbornness and the scale of what it unlocked. They are exactly the kind of founders we want anchoring the Endeavor network in Canada, and they are proof that this kind of company does not only get built in San Francisco or Toronto."

The founders

The idea arrived during a hockey game. Noah was watching at a bar when the broadcast cut to commercial and the ad that played was for cheaper beer at a rival bar down the street. He thought it was strange that a venue would pay for the screen, the subscription and the room, and then use all three to promote a competitor. That observation became Taiv's founding thesis.

Noah Palansky, CEO. Noah started young. At 13 he founded a charity supporting children affected by cancer, which raised roughly $1M CAD and helped about 30 children by the time he was 18. At 21 he left school to lead marketing at IBEX Payroll, a national payroll provider, then returned specifically to specialize in AI, earning a Computer Science degree from the University of Manitoba in 2018. He founded Taiv that same year, at 22. He has since been named to Forbes 30 Under 30.

Jordan Davis, CTO. Jordan leads Taiv's product organization across hardware, firmware, software and product strategy. He came up through software development and was hands-on from the beginning: he and Noah built the original Taiv Box prototypes themselves, before the company had a product team. Detecting a commercial break in real time and fully offline took roughly a year to solve. Jordan is also a Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree.

Avi Stoller, CRO. Avi built the sales team that brought venues onto the network and now leads the revenue organization that works with Taiv's large advertiser clients. He was classically trained in biochemistry, with research experience in solid-state chemistry, before moving into technology sales at SkipTheDishes, Canada's largest food delivery network, where he sold software to bars and restaurants. That is the exact customer Taiv went on to sign at scale.

The road to ISP 109

Over the course of the selection process, Noah, Jordan and Avi engaged deeply with Endeavor's Canadian and global networks, working through local screening, mentorship sessions and a series of interviews with entrepreneurs and investors from across the network before advancing to the International Selection Panel. On September 16, 2026, in Montreal, they went before the 109th ISP and were selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs, becoming the newest Endeavor company in Canada.
