Hanif Joshaghani is Symend’s Co-Founder and CEO. Hanif’s professional background includes 22 years of senior roles in capital markets, energy finance, business development and entrepreneurship. He has raised $150M across the four companies he has founded and has multiple exits. As a visionary entrepreneur and an expert in behavioral engagement technology, Hanif is passionate about creating better customer experiences and improving financial wellness. He has been recognized as EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 Prairie Region and Avenue Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40. He is also a member of the Business Council of Canada, a board member of the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund and the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, and an active mentor and angel investor for the Canadian technology ecosystem.

Tiffany Kaminsky is Symend’s Co-Founder and Chief Impact Officer. She is a passionate entrepreneur and data-driven consumer engagement expert with 15 years of experience in strategy and marketing. Tiffany’s passion for Symend stems from its strong social why and the opportunity to drive positive change by leading with empathy. As a Founder she has taken on many roles in building Symend’s vision. Today, she is focused on building social impact, ESG, CSR, as well as Symend’s purpose-driven behavior and strategy that serves Symend’s people, community, clients and end-customers. Tiffany has received numerous awards and recognition for her work with Symend, including being named an Endeavor Entrepreneur, Avenue Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40, Class of 2020. She was also named a Lending Woman of the Year Finalist by the Canadian Lenders Association and received BDC Capital’s Women in Tech of the Year Award at the Start Alberta Awards in 2020. 

Hanif and Tiffany were selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs through the Canada office in 2022.
