#paid
Founded in 2013, #paid is helping define the next era of creator marketing by enabling brands to transform authentic creator content into performance-driven marketing assets. Headquartered in Toronto and operating across North America, the company works with leading global brands including McDonald’s, Sephora, Samsung, and Disney. #paid’s platform allows brands to efficiently discover creators, manage campaigns, and license content for use across social platforms, paid media, e-commerce, out-of-home advertising, and other owned and paid channels.
As the creator economy has matured, #paid has played a central role in shifting the industry beyond awareness-driven influencer campaigns toward scalable, measurable outcomes. In 2025, the company earned two Adweek Tech Stack Awards, being named Creator Marketing Platform of the Year and Social Media Platform of the Year, recognizing its ability to combine creativity with performance through technology. #paid also partners directly with major social platforms including Snapchat, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, relationships that increasingly serve as meaningful sources of customer acquisition and reinforce the company’s position as trusted infrastructure within the digital advertising ecosystem.
#paid was co-founded by Bryan Gold and his longtime friend Adam Rivietz, who serves as Chief Strategy Officer. Bryan’s entrepreneurial journey began at Western University, where he co-founded Textbook Forest, a campus marketplace that funded tree planting through textbook resales. Originally a film student, Bryan expected to pursue a career in filmmaking until he observed firsthand the disconnect between creators building large audiences and their ability to connect with brands and earn sustainable income. That insight revealed a clear market gap around creator discovery, fair compensation, and trust, and became the foundation for #paid.
Together, Bryan and Adam have built #paid as a creator-first company grounded in transparency, data, and long-term trust. In selecting Bryan as an Endeavor Entrepreneur, panelists cited his early recognition of the creator economy’s potential, the company’s strong market position, and the opportunity for #paid to become foundational infrastructure in a rapidly expanding global market.
